Zandvoort has 3 kite surf locations. There are a number of sandbanks here for the coast (one of which has been sprayed on), creating shallows and pieces of flat water between the waves. The Spot is a well-known hangout for kite surfers. Due to strong currents not really for beginners. Great to take kite surfing lessons.
IKO kitesurfing schools
Although there are IKO kitesurfing schools, we advise you to go kiting here if you can sail upwind. Then you have the most fun with these spots. Because sailing is wonderful here with sufficient skills. You have beautiful waves, sometimes choppy as hell, but that only makes it extra exciting.

If the kiting wasn’t fast enough for you then try the refubished Formula 1 race circuit.
There is plenty of hospitality in Zandvoort, so you don’t have to get bored here after a kite session or in light winds. Zandvoort is a famous beach place anyway. In the Summer it is packed with tourists and day trippers.
You can also sail catamaran, windsurf and wave surf here. If you like shopping, you can easily lose your money in the center of Zandvoort. There is also a good kite surfing shop. In short, you have everything here for water sports enthusiasts and beach goers.
