Description kitesurf spot Vrouwenpolder
Right in front of the kite school Vertigo there is often a shallow lagoon at high tide, this is a great place for beginners or to practice your tricks. It is true that the lagoon depends on the tide and wind direction, so if in doubt, just drop by and see if it is something. When the wind blows from the north, the lagoon usually does well.
Kitesurf spot Vrouwenpolder also offers lessons, which can make it busy. But here too applies: “the more souls the more joy”.
At low tide, there is no lagoon and you have to go out to sea. Water can be very choppy, this is not always nice for beginners, but it should not be a problem for the experienced kite surfer. At Breezand on the left you have a chance of bigger waves as well as on the right of the Banjaard. Ideal for (strapless) wave riders.
Vrouwenpolder
VVrouwenpolder is a small Zeeland village near the municipality of Veere and is located between the North Sea and the Veerse Meer. It is pre-eminently a water sports place where sailing, surfing and swimming are practiced. In the Summer there are many activities for the tourists and there is enough catering to have a drink or a bite to eat.
