You have elderly kite surfers everywhere. Older men and women flock to kite and board.
Elderly kite surfers, do they still exist?
Occasionally a video pops up on YouTube or Vimeo of elderly people who are still kitesurfing. And why not? Kite surfing is indeed a young sport, the participant certainly does not have to be that. As long as you are physically healthy, kite surfing can also be done well in old age. Was it not Obama who took a kite surfing lesson after his presidency and was on the board in no time? In the video below, Richard Branson is even on a foil and he is no longer the youngest ..
65+ and woman. A great kitesurf combination
The women in this video are also enjoying themselves. Despite their above average age, they are still nice and firm on their board and a fat jump is not bad either. It is striking that they certainly did not start at a young age, a few already had the retirement age during the first lesson. Respect for these women!
77 year old kite surfer and his story
This man tells his story (very nice footage) how it all started for him and to this day he is still on the water. Moving story!
Age does not matter
All these videos show again that age does not matter. Kite surfing is for everyone, young and old, agile or a bit stiffer. Kite surfing is always possible!
