Information Core Kiteboarding Core Kiteboarding is a German Kitesurf brand and makes first-class kitesurf equipment. They distinguish themselves by NOT participating in the hype of bringing new models to the market annually, but only releasing new gear if improvements have actually been made and have been fully tested. Kites The German kite builder currently has 5 kites in its range. Each with its own specific sailing characteristics. I myself am an intensive user of the XR5, which I consider the “best kite ever” as a modest amateur kiter.
XR
The XR is a high performance freeride kite with excellent sailing characteristics in all weather conditions. Wind gusts or high waves, with the 5-struts XR you feel like a fish in the water, but also out of the water, because the XR has an excellent hangtime. It is not without reason that the pros use this kite for jumping mega jumps.
GTS
GTS4 is a true freestyle kite, the undisputed mega-loop champion. It is a 3-struts C kite with which you can accelerate quickly and is more precise and brighter than its predecessor the GTS3. The kite is ideal for unhooked and kite-loopings.
Nexus
The newest horse from the Core Kites racing stable is the Nexus. His nickname is the player because it is pure fun, this kite. A wave and freestyle kite in 1, which is fully adjustable for your sailing pleasure. You are going to go into the waves and make fat kiteloops. The kite is based on its predecessors, Section and GTS.
Section
The Section has been released for the true wave kiter. This is a wave-kite pursang. Strapless riders appreciate the Section, but foilers are also increasingly using this kite. The kite is easy to park so you can focus on the wave without having to check the kite.
Impact
For the diehards with strong knees, a real wakestyle kite has been developed by Core-kites. A pure C-shape kite and a wakestyl monster. With this kite in your hands you need to know what you are doing, because the power that this kite can bring about has quite some Impact!
Boards
Core Kiteboarding has 6 kite boards in the racing stable. 3 surfboards and 3 twin tips each with its specific riding characteristics. All Core boards are made of excellent quality materials as we are used to from them. Whatever your riding style, you will always find a board that suits it.
Fusion
We are currently at the Fushion3, which is an all-round freeride / freestyle performance board. They themselves describe the Fushion as the Swiss army knife, which also contains some truth. This all-rounder is simply a perfect board for the sea and flat water. It has excellent pop and good upwind capabilities. The Fushion is also called a lightwind version. With the sailing characteristics of a normal twin tip, but for the days with little wind.
Choice
The Choice is yours. You sail this all-in-one freestyler with boots or with straps, that’s up to you. This board has a very good grip and control that you need on the water and you can sail with and without fins. With an average rocker ensures that you can also accommodate lesser landings.
Bolt
Bolt is the wakestyle board of the Germans. With this you easily grab everything you can encounter on the water, rails, ramps, logs it does not matter. The board is well edged so that you can push off to handle everything.
